Posting again in response to owner's response to my original review (both listed below) This just further cements my negative opinion on Precision Collision when I receive a passive aggressive response that is focused on showing all the reasons my negative review isn't valid. First off, not an inkling of an apology or sorry that you had a poor experience, but right into everything they did right while pointing out what I could have done differently (e.g. adding an OE rider for quicker parts delivery), blaming the insurance company, as well as trying to diminish my "lack of communication" argument by saying they communicated regularly. What is not said is that the emails I received from them were almost always in response to me having to continually call them for updates...reactionary, not pro-active. And adding the women owned business piece and the implied portrayal of me not being respectful or acting with integrity because somehow my actions (or my negative review) were because I don't respect women is extremely offensive and disingenuous to say the least. I did have a rather firm conversation at the end of this process where I said things were unacceptable, expressed my frustration, and said I expected the final call be made to the Progressive agent for final approval. It might have been an uncomfortable conversation as it was negative, but there were no insults or more importantly, ZERO references to the problems somehow being gender related. While the common phrase"the customer is always right" is certainly not always true, the attitude shown in their response is more along the lines of the "customer is always wrong" ...definitely not a place I would feel comfortable doing business with My original review: I'd read many positive reviews of Precision Collision so felt comfortable taking my daughter's car there for repairs after an accident. Initially, Heidi was great in getting us started, getting the Progressive insurance rep out to provide an estimate and getting the process started. One month later and finally getting our car back, my experience changed drastically to a very poor one and a place that frankly I would not recommend to anyone. I had to constantly call for updates on when parts would be ready, when the repairs would start, etc. Several times I was told that they'd get back to me with an update and...crickets. I was always having to call them, no urgency at all. Sometimes it was the Progressive rep delaying them, sometimes it was the parts not arriving, and so on...Amanda was my primary contact for most of the time and she was not very customer-centric at all. Never got back to me and was like pulling teeth to get an answer. I get that there are delays and part of the repair process is contingent on the insurance company, but Amanda's overall detached and cold attitude and lack of communication was terrible. 32 days later, our car was fixed....and was was basically a body repair job and a few mechanical parts to replace. Houses are built quicker than this. Response from the owner 3 hours ago Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We provided consistent weekly updates throughout the repair process and worked hard to move things along despite delays caused by your insurance company and parts availability. We always encourage customers to consider adding an OE rider to their insurance policy — it helps prevent these types of delays by allowing the use of original manufacturer parts instead of waiting on approvals for aftermarket options. As a woman-owned business, we take great pride in the professionalism, integrity, and respect we show every customer. We ask that the same level of respect be extended to us. Our goal is to provide quality repairs and excellent service, and it takes cooperation and understanding on both sides to achieve that. We truly appreciate your trust in us and wish you and your family all the best moving forward.
